92 cavalier need some help

whats up guys im new here and as u can see i prefer my ranger over my other cars but right now i have a problem with my 1992 cavalier i changed the head gasket and got the head milled and right after i put it all back together it started knocking and i dont know what it is, im almost positive its not rod knock because its sounds like its a rocker arm not gettin any oil but i took the belt off the car and then started it and the knock went away anyone know what it is? :confused: :confused:
