92 grand am flasher

i have a problem with my 92. i found out that i need a new flasher, and bought one to put in. however, i don't know where the flasher is located in that model. i haven;t found my answer so far. i think it might be in the panel under the steering wheel, but i haven't poened it up yet to look. if anyone could tell me exactly where it's located, it would be a great help. thanks!

It should be located somewhere on the fuse panel. The fuse panel should be located under the dash on the left side. However, models differ and it could be in a different location. To change just pull out the old flasher and install the new one.

I just changed out my flasher and found it located just underneath the dash trim plate, to the right of the steering column and attached to a little clip. If you take off the trim plastic piece that runs along underneath the steering wheel, and then look immediately right of the steering column, you'll see some black plastic wall and on the inside of that is the flasher. Just reach your hand around that wall and the flasher is held by a round little clip and it just pops out.
