My girlfriend just got a new Saturn Ion, so I went over to the Ion boards... and I am the only person that has ever posted there... how sad..

They did an article on it in this months Car and Driver

I swear a few months ago they did a write-up on the Ion Redline in Sport Compact Car...I have heard much about the Ion Redline over on SRTforums.com and they are basically Saturn's version of the Cobalt ss coming out. Stock I think they'll be running in the 15's, and I think i've seen a few mags with numbers around higher 14's.

Yuck not my taste. Atleast saturn is joining the performance scene.

lol before we know it Geo will be resurrected with cars that run 14s stock :P

Hey, don't dish Geo. I owned one and they were good cars. Really they were all imports. It's just mine was a hand me down and wasn't taken care of so it stopped running. I still would buy another if I had the money just to fix up and race.

this guy i know down the street has a metro hatch thats gutted and hes putting the 1.3 4 cyl in it with a bunch of stuff done to the engine. I think hes go0nna turbo it too, and hes gonna need nitrous for it to truly go anywhere. He runs like 12.6 in the 1/8th.
