OK, I understand why peple are getting tired with how others ask the same question over and over, thats reasonable. BUT WHY IN THE HELL MAKE IT SO HARD TO FIND INFORMATION NOW. I can't find anything on anything anymore. All this does is make things harder rather then easy. Plus if you stop peopel from asking old questions pretty soon there be slim to none post cuz everything would have been covered, think about it. Ok I'm done venting, now on to my question.

I need to know how to get my motor mount off to replace the serpentine belts. I've looked and read and looked and found NOTHING. I backout the bolts and about 1.5 rotations the bolts get tight again. I don't feel like breaking the bolts so please someone share info.

I drive a 96 civic ex, I'll be nice and pre-thank you.

People get mad when it's a question asked all the time, if it hasn't been asked in a while then usually people will help out. Otherwise there is a Search function on the board where you can select which forums to search thru. Don't find it in one, then search another. Almost any question you could possibly think of has been answered time and time again. And for people who have been here a long time (years), it gets annoying having to read through the same questions over and over again. and chances are by searching instead of asking a question again; you'll find a lot more detailed info already given than you'll get from asking again. But back to your question:

Do you have that part of the motor jacked up? I'm assuming you do, so you might have to jack that side of the motor up a tiny bit more to try to get the mount and motor lines up perfect and evened out to get the bolts out. If they still won't budge then try some penetration spray . If it's at the point where the bolt is almost out and is still stuck you may have to tap it out with a screw driver and a hammer. Otherwise, you may have crossthreaded the bolt already. Hope I've helped.

I know exactly what you mean, its just in the whole "how to" forum and "lets get tech", it doesn't matter cuz you can't find anything. Theres only like 15 threads to look through, everything is gone like its been deleted. So when you type in your search it comes up with nothing. All I used this for is to look at old threads. Its gets kind of hard to find what your looking for when there is no threads to look at.

Anywho it doesn't matter my dad got ahold of my car and idk how but I think he broke the weld that holds the nut. So I'm probably gona have to bring it into a shop to get that fixed.
