Caprice Ridin' Tooo Low

I want to pick up my 84 caprice body as I have noticed it is riding too low on the ground. A buddy of mine suggested installing Cadillac springs to lift the body a bit. My question is,if I do that, :rolleyes: do I also need to replace the shocks?

Yes. Everything is stock.

I replaced my springs/shocks at 167k but there was still a "tilt" to it. The rubber frame isolators need to be replaced on mine for sure.

You have to remove the shocks to get to the springs, so as long as they're off, replace them too.

Also make sure you're running a stock tire size.

The best solution would be to use the polie car springs & shocks. They're bilstien shocks, and are noticeably stiffer than the stockers, and give the car a higher ride height.
