i was wondering how much boost a stock ej20 can handle before blowing up and what the stock boost is on an ej20

It all depends on your fuel... all you need is good spark, good fuel and as much boost as you like... A stock EJ20 can hold about 22PSi without blowing... keep in mind this is not daily driven 22psi... Ive seen built ej20s running 38 to 45 PSI so it really matters how much money you are wanting to spend on you car... I believe a stock WRX runs about 10 PSI... Dont quote me on this though this is off the top of my head

The stock boost on the WRX peaks at 13.2 psi, this is at about 4800 rpm, if you're only getting around 12psi you're not getting your revs high enough to see it peak.
