Iam changing a 250 (6) to a 350 in my 74 nova. The 350 is comming out of a chev pick up. What will I have to do for motor mounts? Thanks for any help you can provide. Sandy

Dont quote me but I think the pads on your frame might have to be moved or find some off a v8 Chev car in a wrecking yard. The 6 is longer so a v8 needs them in a different place. Not to worry as the swap is easy because Gm has all the holes on your frame pre drilled to change your mount. Just knock out the rivits that are holding the pads on and use bolts to install new ones. it might be a good idea to just get new pads from a parts store, you dont need to go to dealership, the rubber pads are usually covered in oil and wearing out by this time. New pads will make your engine much happier also.
