most favorite song I like is MR. MOM by Lonestar, because me and him has things in common, BUT I don't have kids, on my Days off of work, things always goes wrong, like my plans, my car, and my bills. Even the song BREAK DOWN HERE, I forgot who sings it. It describes me everyday. btw I don't smoke, but I just hate being home.

I like about everything George Strait, Toby Keith, and Brooks and Dunn. And alot of other artists for that matter. I'm not a lone country fan (P.O.D. on right now) but it's what I grew up with and Trace Adkins is the first in my truck CD player. Outlaw Country is about the best stuff too.

the title of the thread is rhetorical. It's not really asking for an answer, it's more so a beckon to country music fans to come and post their favorite songs, as is indicated with the initial post of the thread.

NOW, keeping back on topic, some other favorites of mine are:

Dwight Yoakum(sp?): Fast as you, little sister don't ya (Elvis covers, but good).

Garth Brooks (awesome in concert): Rodeo, and pretty much every other song he sings.

Pretty much anything by Hal Ketchum.

I started listening to country music since I was 10 years old. My sister had a CD and played it, that's when I started likeing country. Before than I was listening to pop, kissFM, and stuff like that besides rapp.

Now I still do, I do like Country music, but they keep on playing the same songs over and over or at least twice in one hour. Basically I listen to CD's, mostly all the time.

The only type of music I don't like is country, but when your riding in a classic chevy, or you don't listen to the lyics, its fine.

Sorry for not replying to this tread.

I've been out for a while catching up with work and school, so I haven't got any chance til now.

Everyday when I drive to places I will listen to country for awhile til it starts to repeat songs over and over. Most of the time I will listen cd's like Shania Twain, Beach Boys, Cledus T. Judd, and Mixed country songs w/ other kinds of music. I know I already said that in the other treads but I couldn't think of nothing else. I've been besy burning cd's also for the time being. It's been crazy for the last couple of weeks, I don't know when the next time i'll be online, if I didn't had school I'll probably be online most of the time. I gtg, so I'll chat later. bye..

The only counrty musician I have any stuff by is Johhny Cash. Otherwise, my only exposure is when my g/f listens to country on the radio. But like most radio, what I hear is washed out garbage.

I love older stuff, but I can't say any of the new country I've heard has any appeal to me.

Roger Miller all the way!
