Ok guys, I need help. I have a '94 rag top with major electical problems. The power to the top and windows comes and goes. They'll work for weeks then go out for an hour. They come back on for a day and are out for another week. There's no rhyme or reason behind it. The only things that are consistant is the fact that both the top and windows go out at the same time. Also, for some reason even when the power is out, the window on the driver's side will work with the switch on the door, but not with the master switch panel on the driver's door. The other windows will not. What gives? Also, I bought this car used and didn't get a manual with it. It there a manual bypass to close the top when the power goes out?
Please email answers directly to my email if you will. Thanks.

the power top and windows work thru the same power relay. I would look to it first. As far as the drivers window working, you may have a broken wire where the harness goes thru the door into the car. It's a fairly common problem on older cars, normally only on high mileage examples though.

I have that same problem. But it all happened when I started having ignition switch problems. I cannot seem to find the fuse box that houses the fuse to the window and the top. I have a 93 rag top.
