87 New Yorker Memory Loss

Every time I turn off my 87 New Yorker, 2.2L Turbo, with the digital dash and traveler, I lose my info on my traveler and my stereo resets. I checked my fuses, they are all ok and my cigarette lighter works. I need help, its driving me crazy!!!

Doesnt anybody have any direction they can point me in? Ive checked fuses and wiring. Also, when I turn my ignition to "accessory", nothing works (radio) does this have something to do with it?

Hello there:

I also have a 1987 Chrysler Ney Yorker 2.2L tubo automatic...

Although I don't have an answer to your question, I thought it might be a good idea to let you know I'm here and we have the same car... As for your problem... one problem I have with my car in the fuse box is loose fuses... try checking to see if some of them may not be connecting properly... mine will work for long periods of time, and then just suddenly one day when I start the car, or when I'm driving the radio stops working... if I fiddle with the fuse, it works again... I tried bending the fuse leads a little in opposite directions to see if that would make it stay in place and get a good connection... it seems to be working for the most part...
