Olympic pairs Skating

Well, since I couldn't see a thread, so I made one. Do you think the Canadians won the gold? I sure as hell do!!! Its been rigged for decades! Elvis was almost always better, as was a lot of other skaters. The guy who introduced triple spins (1080's) was deducted points, according to the judges of the time. He got a silver, of course.

Oh well, at least now they might right the judging. Its so upsetting when something is obviously rigged.

Considering the French judge admitted that she was corrupt, I'd say it's very clear-cut.

Not that it wasn't readily apparent to all at the time though.

The crowd roundly booed the judges after their decision.

I'm with U guys Canadian should have won........:mad: even with the Russians make a clear error they still win.....not right :mad:

While we've beaten this issue for quite some time, I think the general concensus is that Canada should have had the gold - and all to themselves.

As much as I would hate to admit it the Canadian's were robbed big time! I watch that event and thought they won gold hands down. Just goes to show even the Olympics are not beyond bullshit voting and judging.

Well as announced yesterday. The Canadians have be awarded co-gold medals for that. The Russians keep theirs because thats the way it was judged but the Canadians get gold now as well. The silver now goes to no one. The judge has also been banned.
