Iam having major problems with my headlights(i just got them too freshly installed).....High beams are adjusted somewhat fine but the low beams suck ass. They barely aim more than 15 feet from the car and it doesnt illuminate the upper right and upper left portions of the car..i can change a flat tire..i can do my own oil changes...but i cant adjust my lights......What tools are required to adjust them?

not sure about tools, but there are adjustment devices behind the lights. i'm sure some of the guys on here know how they actually work.

it could be a problem with bulb alignment, i'd pull them out and check it.

the bulb alignment might be true because i just replaced the stock bulbs with Halo's...any idea on how to fix that

i think you need an inverted torx not sure of the size. as far as the adjustment park the car about 20-25 ft from a wall and adjust the beam to be a few inches down and to the right of the actual height of the headlight on the car . it seems to work nicely . theres prob exact specs but i dont know what they are

There the 40$ "fake" halogen light bulbs from pep boys ...And just to make everything clear i only go there for the light bulbs!!!!.Since i dont wanan risk breaking my headlights again iam gonna take it to my local state inspection station where they have computerized equipment that can aim them properly

Make sure if you touch them not to get your fingers on the bulb, the oil from your fingers heats up and cracks them.

My friends 2001 GT seems to have that problem also, I had to drive it to him tonight. The headlights haven't been messed with, so I'd guess the factory just forgets to adjust them right every once and awhile.

look between the headlight and the parking light... its pretty easy to see w/ a flashlight but between the two you can see the head of a screw, all you have to do is get a screw driver and tighten it to shorten the beam or loosen it to lift the beam
