Guy put a 350 in a VR4??

I was talking with some guys I met the other day and they said they know a guy with a 3000GT VR4 that he transplanted a chevy 350 LS1 into. Is that even possible?? I had no idea that there was enough room under the hood for a motor like that. They even said that he was able to keep the AWD. I don't know if I can believe that or not. If anybody has ever heard of this let me know.


I wonder how much that would cost??

I've not heard about someone doing that. They would go through hell trying to get the transmission hooked up to that engine to keep the AWD. However, there was someone who built a 8sec car with a 350 chevy and put a stealth (sister to the VR4) body around it. It didnt have the AWD or any other characteristic of a stealth of course.
