Brake warning light

I have an RV built on a '89 E350 chassis. The brake warning light used to flicker until I added more brake fluid to the master cylinder. Now it stays on all the time. I have checked the brakes and the linings are still within the limits before they need replacing. How do I get the light to stay off?
