Custom Exhaust

Whats the best type of muffler to run with custom exhaust? My buddy says i should get the ES muffler cause there stanless steel and straight through, plus there supposed to be on the quite side, and then i can just put on a tip. Any recommendations before i go out and buy one?

I'm going to most likely run a magnaflow stainless steel 2.25" center intlet, offset outlet, straight through muffler. And one of their 2.25" resonators too. Unless anyone can give me a good enough reason not to.

i had a E'S exhaust on my 92 240 but i crashed it but the thing was very loud... so if you dont want a loud exhaust i wouldnt recommend the e's,
it was a dual tip dtm style e's
