wont start and no headlights

I have a 89 g20 with a 350 motor,this is the second time the van died on me.the engine will turn but wont start and the headlights,horn,radio wont come on but the interior lights,turn signals comes on .i put a new battery in and still nothing.

sounds like you may have an open fusible link- I'm not sure exactly where they are located. A set of schematics might be a big help sorting it out. Best of luck.
