I have a 1991 Chevy S-10 Blazer 4x4 - 4.3 - Automatic and the Motor Mounts need to be replaced. Has anyone done this themselves and if so can you guide me as how to do it. If it is something than can be done with out taking it to a shop hopefully someone has tips on how to do it. Thanks in advance for any advice given.

You will need a floor jack to apply upward pressure to the engine and tranny so you can do the swap.
Loosen the worn mounts, jack the engine up with a floor jack, remove and replace.
You might need the aid of a friend and a prybar for some.

i'd put a block of wood ( 2x4 ) between the jack and the oil pan so you don't poke a hole in the pan then just unbolt them , jack it up some, work the old out place the new one in and let it down slow to line up the new ones, that's how i did my 64 vette . not too bad of a job. i've got to do mine on my 94 this winter.
