BMW Mini has announced that it will be launching a remake of the classic 60's mini moke! It will use the 90bhp unit from the Mini one and the 1.4 diesel unit from the One D. No performance modles have been announced as yet, however, a Cooper and Cooper S are the obvious choices.
Based on the current Cabriolet, the moke will have chunkier plastic bumbers, higher suspension, and cut outs in the tops of the doors to echo the shape of the origional. There will be a double door "van stye" boot, and a fully electric soft top.
Prices are expected to be at a £1000 premium to the Mini One Cabriolet. Launch is expected in 2007.
