Help! '97 remote programming

I just got a '97 Jimmy to replace my '89 S-10 (RIP). It came with one working remote and one that isn't programmed. Help please

My owners manual said to get close to the suv and hold down both the lock and unlock buttons at the same time for at least 5 seconds. The lock should cycle then. It worked for me.
