I noticed today when driving and I needed to get away quicklyu, the car seemed to pulled to the side. Iwasnt peeling out or anything, and I was in a high 2nd gear. I slammed the pedal, and the car pulled to the right. It took me by surprize, so I let off quickly, and mashed it again. Then it pulled to the other side. Is this normal? SHould I worry about this? Thanks.

Yeah, if you were pushing the pedal hard, it was probably torque.

I hate Torgrue steer, it sucks...... It goes crazy some times. Does it only happen to FF's?

It's only real bad in the FFs. You can get a little in an AWD but it's nothing like a FWD. I haven't romped on RWDs much but I don't think they really torque steer at all.

In my crx with no power steering the ruts a well worn highway gets would shift the car pretty good alone, add acceleration to that and that cor would do some crazy unexpected stuff . One thing I learned was that you don't want to fight it. Don't completly relax but also don't try to steer into it and Keep a firm grip on the wheel.
