One more driveshaft problem

The driveshaft on the driverside of the transmission goes in about 95% of the way, and no matter how much I twist, shove, or hammer it, it wont move another centimeter. There's only a 2 mm wide clearance between where it will seal. I don't know if I should put the differential oil in there to see if maybe it just needs lube because I don't know if it will just leak right out. Any idea's on why it won't move at all anyone? anyone know how tight of a fit it is? Thanks again in advance.

from memory, it should have a circlip near the end of the inner cv joint which locks the driveshaft into the diff.
you should feel it fall into place smoothly when you knock it back in.
if you are unsure, get underneath the car and try to pull it back out with your hands holding the inner cv joint, DO NOT pull it by the driveshaft as you could and probably will separate the inner cv joint from itself and thats grief, ball bearings everywhere and stuff. if it comes out its not located properly and you might need to buy a new circlip for it from the dealer (cheap as chips) but if you cant move it, it is in place and fill up with your transmission oil it should be ok.

You're thinking of the passenger side driveshaft, which has the circlip. That side went in just fine, but the driver's side driveshaft doesn't have a circlip so it should just slip right in. What I discovered today was that i'm pretty sure it goes in all the way, but the bearing piece that connects the two half-shafts and bolts up to the engine block, won't line up with the holes and pegs that it sits on. It's only off by about 1-2 mm, but it doesn't want to go any further no matter what I try. Any suggestions on that part? It needs to be bolted there before I can drive it. Once this problem is solved I will finally be done with my automatic to manual conversion, I've been at it for about a month now so any help is really appreciated! Thanks!
