it should tell you on the little piece of metal in the bay over ther on the back left[in the picture] if you face the engine, over by the wiper motor

and is that duct tape on the coolant reservoir.....

lol i was jsut confirming...not my car...some car on ebay...going for like 500 bucks...

I think it is a ka24e

It's a KA24DE, not a KA24E. You can see that the spark plugs are in the middle of the valve cover, that means DOHC. SOHC have the plugs on the side.

^ what he said and you can also tell its DE because it looks nothing like the E......whats wrong with duct tape? those seem to crack at that same place all the time...mine is.

its a 94 KA engine that was swapped into that 93 240 pictured or just has a 94 valve cover because it was already maybe rebuild ones... but i know for a fact that this engine is a piece of crap because the owned drove it when it was very low on oil and the engine started knocking... so i wouldnt buy this if i were you unless you plan on rebuilding the hole think, and also its an automatic... and you dont want that!!..

yea man i have tape on my coolant resivour it was cracked all on the top so dont hate

you know i dont think i have ever seen a coolant resivour that isnt broken on an S13 (still stock).

If it's a 94 then it's a convertible.
