4x4,4wd help, please

i have a 97 z71 1500 and i was attempting to remove the front actuator when it snapped in half....can anyone tell me how to remove the part still in the front diff...i'd really appreciate any help anyone can give and i'd really prefer to avoid taking it to the deal as it would be anyone from a 100 to 200 just to fix that...thanks for you help
