Oil Additives

I was just wondering what everyone added to their oil, if anything. I have been using Lucus Heavy Duty Oil Stablelizer. Is that stuff any good. After I started using it, I saw this little gear set thing, as an example, at discount autoparts and you turn a knob and the oil runs through the gears.(kind of hard to explain) The one with Lucus Oil Stablizer seemed to have a much thicker consistancy.

Never heard of this gear thing with the knob. Lucas oil works well if you have engine tap common on hondas. when you change your oil though you have to add more or the tap comes back.

i've seen the Lucas wheel thingy. i've never been a big fan of oil additives.

i've seen other people just use a thicker oil weight with the same benefits without the additives. Making the engine smoother and better heat protection. Like maybe 15w30, 20w50 examples, but for only summer weather of course.

I live in florida, weather doesn't fluctuate but maybe 60 degrees, so that's not an issue
