Stock airbox/intake Question

Connected to the intake tube near the airbox theres this black rod that crosses over to the engine and goes into the throttle body/..How the hell do you remove it without causing damage to the manifold and engin

If its the plastic tube i am thinking of when i repleaced my sparkplugs and pcv valve i had to take off the intake. The black tube i just unhooked when the car was off ofcourse no problems what so ever.
