2000 Cavalier just dies

Hey,

I have a 2000 Cavalier. Every once and awhile while I am driving, uphill, downhill or flat, the car just dies. No sputtering, lunging or nothing. All the light come on and it just rolls to a stop. Sometime I can restart it immediately other times if I wait a minute to 10 minutes it will start. It acts like it is just out of gas.

I have put a new fuel filter in and also some gas detergent.

Any thoughts?

have you checked your plugs and wires?
