What is the best overall OBD-1 ECU I can stick in my 2000 Civic EX? Which is pretty much stock, just a CAI. How much can I expect to pay for the ECU and adapter? Is it possible to install a JDM OBD-1? Please help me out. Thanks

a p28 is what you want but i would spend my money on some more mods before i thought about an obd swap.

it is possible but it would be hard to do. The motor that would be best is the USDM B16A2 from the 99-00 Civic Si. It's OBDII just like all 96+ Civics are so it should bolt in better than a OBDI(JDM B16A)
Hope that helped.:D

Hondata makes the adapter cable that you need, but like Rick said... youre just waisting your money. Why dont you pickup a header and get a custom exhaust dropped on... surely that would gain you a hella lotta more HP then the ECU swap
