Pwr Locks and Windows??

I am having an issue with my power locks and Windows for my 94 jeep cherokee 4.0L. I can only roll down all windows from the driver side control, and the power door locks do not work at all, I have to manually lock the doors. I figured that it was the master switch on the driver side so I replaced it, that is not the prob. I have checked all the fuses and they are good. I did however notice in the owners manual that there are power lock relays under the dash. I do see that they are missing but I call the dealership and they do not know what I need, they need a # in order to see if they have one. Could this be the problem????

Wait......the dealer can't tell you? Don't they have a parts manual?

You should call another dealer. My '88 uses these:
P/N 3300 1776

LoL..its not that they don't have a parts manual. It's that the parts manual is 2 feet down the counter and you can't pick up a parts manual while you have a cigarette in one hand a beer in the other.

I always find it funny when I call for the availability of a part and I'm asked for the part number. I tried to find the black rubber engine compartment splash cover once and finally found someone that tracked it down. A few visits to the same dealer and finally a decent parts rep.

I have 6 Jeep dealerships within a 20-30 minute drive. Thise guys can not only find the part numbers from a rather poor description, but will even call around to other dealers if they don't have the part in stock. Competition is a good thing.

I can't even count the number of PepBoys, AutoZones, Kragens, Napas, etc. we have around here.

BTW: I have my own parts manual (in PDF).

Found it on another Jeep site. And the FSM too. I have the parts manuals for 81-96 (in 4 sep files). Only saw the FSM for the 88 and 2000 (mine's the 88).

Don't recall the site for the parts manual. If you search this forum for the FSM, you should find the link.
