help check engine light

well I had posted a thread like this a couple weaks back and I had some good answers, got some good sites for the codes everything. Well yesterday I attempeted to check the problem out well I cant find the 2 wires conected to the blue connector I need. I have tried searching this site and in google and can't find nothing for my model (96). Can anyone please tell me where this wire is located. I pulled up the carpet on the passenger side and the metal cover there(was told that where the wire would be) but there is all kinds of wire but not the one I need. Can anyone please tell me where it's at or if possible show me.
