when down shifting in a random race is it really harmful to go to third all the time ? or just go to 4?

Well it depends on how fast you are going. If you throw it into 3rd while going 100 and it almost redlines for example then no...throw it into 4th. Wait till you start to slow down more from 4th in order to put it into 3rd and so on.

Are you serious? I know a D series can do 92km/h in 2nd MAX and a B can probably do more... maby easing or riding the clutch out a little will prevent high pressures on the tranny and even the engine

B series motors do exactly 100 km/h in 2nd gear.
Thats 62mph for those who can't convert.

i wish i could find an individual setup like that for my car, itd be cool looking in my horizontally opposed motor. id have 2 in a line front to rear on the right side, and 2 more like that on the left, and theyd probably all face straight up. then find a couple socks for air filters :silly2: and im ready to go!
