Will69Camaro finally got me to join up (I'm the girlfriend  )
Here are some of the models I've built in the past year:
Revelle 99 Cobra in Azure Blue (Krylon blue with clearcoat)

A couple of the Vettes from my collection, an AMT 98 hardtop in Duplicolor Smoke Metalcoat and a Revelle 2001 Z06 in Electron Blue (Krylon blue with Testors blue metalflake and Boyd true blue pearl)

Will also mentioned I was working on my very first extreme custom build for a friend of ours; here's the interior tray with a carpeted rear seat delete and a 6-point cage (will soon be an 8)

Here's the car body with a 4" cowl and parachute mount:

Here's the dash with the millions of gauges required for a race car:

And finally, here's the actual car:

The blue on the Cobra is beautiful. I like the job done on the interior of the Mustang, hopefully the model turns out how you want it. Great builds! :p

About polishing, I used the buffer on my Dremmel and Meguiars (sp?) cleaner wax on the finished model, and the buffer only before clearcoat (on the gray Vette) but nothing really involved. I just know how to photograph the models well :sunglasse Thanks for the good words! I took a break on the 90 GT to build a LeMans edition Z06 (yeah I know another Vette...if only they made as many new Mustangs as Vettes!)

Seeing your build is what made me decide to join the site! I'll probably start work on the custom turbo setup for the car this weekend

They are the wheels that came with the kit, I looked for another pic but didn't have any better ones. They might work for a new Mach 1 style wheel, but they would be noticeably smaller, seeing as how they're probably a to-scale 15" wheel at best. I wish Revelle would just make a new Mach 1 model!
Thanks for all the compliments guys, I'll keep you posted on the True Street Stang and the other models I'm working on. Currently I've got an 87 Grand National, a 68 Skylark, an 04 LeMans ed. Corvette, and the Mustang going!

Must be nice to have a girlfriend to build models with. How old are you if I may ask? You got some great looking models here. I am impressed by the Modern model mustang cause I have had nothing but bad luck building those things.

She is 20 and I'm 19. It is pretty nice to have a gf that is into models. The past few weekends we've popped in a movie and sat over our models. She is better at building than i am but she's alot more into making everything perfect...I tend to rush things to try and finish them.

I posted some stuff up in your thread, I hope it helps you! If you have any questions about the 99 Cobra model, let me know--I've built two, and one was a convertable...kinda!
