So. I bought my turbo II at the end of june. I still dont have the title. I'm mad.
Don't berate me for buying a car without a title because i was already over halfway there when i found out... on a 700 mile trip. The kid tells me that he had te reapply for a lost title thorugh the florida DMV (i bought the car in michigan) and i don't have any reason to not believe him, i checked the VIN and it comes up as a FL title. I'm just pised because i know the FOUR GODDAMN FUCKING HURRICANES has really slowed down the proccess. And now that my civic got REARENDED BY A DOLT ON HIS CELLPHONE i need my rx-7 to get around.
I'm just pissed.
I want my title :frown:

Wow - I can't believe you handed over the $$$ and didn't get the signed title in your hands.

yogs: its not really too big of a deal, because if push comes to shove, i always have a GXL that would LOVE to be the host of a 13bt engine. Hence why i'm not selling the GXL yet. still, its just an irritation. beh.

May I ask why would you even leave on the trip w/o the car having a title. I know to even put a car on a trailer in the state of new york the car must be titled and insured.

damn, in the state of CT, you can register a car without a title. all you need is the old registration paper and insurance.

Update: I got the title now :D
Of course i KNEW I was going to get it right after i bought and registered an old toyota pick-up! But it's good, cause now i don't have to drive my baby thorugh the winter, and have her eaten by salt or hit by some dumb bitch in an SUV.
I'm fuckin stoked now :D
