I came up with no matches.
I want to dull some chrome wheels so they look.....less chrome-like.
How do i go about doing it?

Use a clear flat. Testors dullcoat works great!

or you could simply spray a light coat of Tamiya Silver Leaf

You could strip the chrome off and repaint it with Alclad, Mr Super Metalizer or other metallic paint. To strip the chrome just soak it in bleach for a few hours. That will totally remove the plated chrome, but some brands will leave behind a clear undercoat that will have to be stripped as well.
Also play around with giving the wheels a wash with Tamiya smoke or something similar. That will give the wheels added depth and realism.
