What are the best sounding tweeters out there and what is the best way to hook them up, through the radio or off an amp?

my koda tweets are the best I've heard, others call them weak. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

which sounds better, small like .5 or big like 1 inch?

I have 4 JL tweeters in the front..I was told that if I run them off the amp without crossovers I would blow em up..I didn't know you could hook tweeters up to an amp..

you can hook them up to an amp, but you heard right, you need some sort of highpass filter for the tweets or they'll die very very fast. You can use a highpass filter in your headunit, in your amp, or just an ordinary cap in series with the tweeter would work.

Give a little knowledge to someone and they will use it and mildly pervert car audio :)
