:lol2: That so wierd. My friend lived there last year. The apartment themselves inside weren't bad. But ya the surrounding area is ghetto as hell. He sent me a video last year of a the police flying over the apartment spot lighting looking for someone.

That site is hilarious  Wow, that's some sweet place you're living in there.
Here's my place:
http://www.apartmentratings.com/rate/v/603432046403038/derry_country_club_estates.html
Here's some pics:
http://www.rentnet.com/apartments/fyp/search/brochure/brochure.jhtml?cPointer=1&pid=1444&_DARGS=%2Fapartments%2Ffyp%2Fsearch%2Fspg%2Fresult _row.jhtml.3_A&_DAV=1
I'd give it a better average rating than it's getting there, especially once you factor in how affordable the rent actually is, AND that there's no lease agreement, so we could leave with a month's notice. It's pretty quiet, too. I've only been told of one instance (by a couple friends crashing at our place, who happened to be up at 4 in the morning) of hooligans trying car doors in the lot (after having no success with our locked doors, apparently they found a car with unlocked doors.) One of my friends tried to get the car's plates, but failed to. Anywho, I suppose you really have to do your research when getting an apartment, and talk to people who live in the complex.
Hehe. Police circling the area in choppers, HipHop music pumping at all hours, neighborhood pool parties, blood on the stairs from a fight ( :eek7: ) "Gated Community" status, and even a guard dog to boot! At least you can't say your place is uneventful....

hehe. My apartment complex is really nice, but on the other side of the fences.........is government housing. We have heard many gunshots coming from there. The cops are there almost every night and there once was a helicopter circling with the spotlight over that place looking for some one too!
The ghetto is great :cwm27:

Hey, your place beat mine by 8% :grinno: You say you've had no major problems, I'd definately give my place a rating higher than 50%... what is the rest of these people's problems? :grinno: I can't help but wonder... what is it exactly that people want for an apartment? I mean, my place (2 bedroom, 700 sq. ft.) is only 760 a month, Heat/Hotwater included, new carpeting, etc. What more do the other 50% of the people want? :loser: A massage therapist making nightly rounds? (Oh man, that'd be so sweet...)

I have to question the same thing. I think some people expect apartments to be as nice as a house or something. I have 2 bed, 2 bath(can't remember the sq. footage) for $650/month. And one guy on there complained they were over priced. Far from it. I've come to the conclusion that the apartments I live in are the second or third nicest in Huntsville. Especially for the price. Rent has gone up for me every year. But hardly enough to complain about. First year, didn't pay for water, second year we did, this year, I don't believe there's been an increase at all. People just expect too much.

^^^Christ, you can't find a decent apartment for under 950/mo here. Maybe I should move to Texas......nah.
