347 stroker or Holley Systemax?

Hi everyone, I am new to AF. I have a VR4, and my dad recently bought my 5.0L. It's a notch, engine rebuilt and bored to 306, bolt-ons, 3.55's, running high 13's at about 101mph. Anyway, he wants something to really make the fox trot. In the spring, he wants either a Holley Systemax II kit (H/I/C), or a 347 stroker kit. Obviously the 347 is a lot cheaper. Does anyone have opinions on the advantages/disadvantages or either, and what kind of performance increase would be noticed?

I would go with the system max kit, You will get better gains out of those little parts then you will buying a 347 short block, using the stock heads and induction. Running a good H/I/C combo, you will see 12's with a good launch.
Other thing I might consider different on your set up is the gears, running a steeper gear would help in many areas.

well boath would be cool but i have heard that the systamax will run 12.1s on some slicks.i think it with some other light mods like MAS air and injecters and headers. but thats very respectabol. my friend has perchest the comp. 347 kit but his car is not finished, but i would say to go with the systamax because it will add more power and you coould still later go to the 347 if you want that power

I would suggest AFR 165's, a Edelbrock Performer RPM, and a computer friendly hydro roller.
I'm just not much of a Holley fan.
