i just got an aem cold air intake for my 04 gt v6 6 speed. it sound great ONLY when you step on it. i cant even notice at idle or on a slow pickup, only when hit the gas all the way. is there a way to make it sound that good at low rpms?

No. The reason it sounds so good is because the throttle is opened up, which causes the intake to suck in more air. If you hear it when the throttle is barely open or closed, then something is wrong.

yeah.. when you step on it... the throtle is open.. air is moving... why would you want high pitched screaming at an idle?..... :sly:

Actually, it's more of a mid-low pitch roaring. Definitely not high pitched like the buzz-bomb exhausts on ricer Civics.
