Good God man! $379! I only payed $250 for my set. I just bought the McCulloch set from Ebay.
I admit it's kinda cheap, I hope it lasts for a while, but I love HID, it really gives class to the car :)

Dude, the difference is like night and day! :)
I used to have the Sylvania 9007 Halogen Bulbs, the ones that are supposed to be close to HID quality. They don't compare to true HID.
I would say the HID's are a good 50% brighter, but if you get the 5300k set it will look pure white, so it looks 100% brighter. the difference on a Fox Body would be huge.

this is probably old dead thread revival -- but i was reviewing while trying to make a HID decision and realized there are quite a # of scammers going around (aka misterjung).. i've been debating going with a lifetime conversion (http://www.neverburnout.com) company -- seems to be instyle) or just good old sylvania/phillips because of brand recognition and their proven like CRAZY.

i'm probably going to opt for some phillips dealer myself for HIDs.
