I like the Integra a little more than the 240, but the 240 was my second choice. The s15 front end conversion is...... Well I like them. If you want to get all your parts cheap and easy, than go with the Integra, if you want something a little dif, and don't mind looking for the parts, go with the 240. Good luck.

The 240's are heavy, which brings up a great point, you will spend less money making the integra fast. But, the 240's RWD. It's all up to you. I don't see the benifit in RWD anymore except drift.

Doesn't a skyline motor fit in a 240sx?

Yes, I think it does.

Yep. I actually met the guy once. He had it in a 91 240sx and painted it copper. He lives in Green Bay. The sad story is that when he was trailin it back from chicago, the car fell of the trailor and fucked up his whole ride. It wasn't an easy swap either.

Back to the topic. 240sx have lots of potential. It doesn't take much to hit the 12s with those KA motors and especially the SR motors. They're not expensive motors either except the s15 which is like 4 grand i believe. The only thing that sucks is that the 96-97 240sx is way overpriced.

yeah..I also belive u can put a skyline engine on the 240SX...but the Skyline engine it self is probally worth more then the 240SX...here in L.A. they run about 5G's just the MOTOR it self...so ur looking at a 8G SWAP....y don't u get a RS,LS, or GS, 94 plus Teg ( they look a lot better ;) ) and swapping in a K20, or even an h22...or the Type R teg engine (would be a lot eaiser then opition a and b)...anyways Good LUCK...

isnt this convienient, just last night i was trash talking about how i could eat a ka for breakfast, before i knew it i have a race coming up soon with a 96 240, with open exhaust that comes out of a sidepipe right from the header, it also has a 180sx lsd on it.... i think hell take me off the line, but thats about it... ill keep you guys posted

N/A 240sx is slow but when they just have that s15 motor in it...you'll definitely see those things hit 12s stock.

Integra for the strip

240 for the Drift

Integra for the strip

240 for the Drift

Ya know, i usually agree w/ your posts, but WHAT?

The 240 is under a more ideal drag racing layout than the FF Integra. The engine has tons of power potential for Turbo, and the Chassis has the potential for a 2.0 Liter Turbo SR20DET or a RB26 Twin Turbo. Either of the 3 choices can yield high HP #'s and low times for a bit cheaper than a tuned B series (not the case w/ the Skyline engine, but you get the point, i hope)

There is alot more to having power at the rear wheels than drifting. The fact that the 240SX is only seen as a drift car to the "Boy Racer" community is really quite sad, because of the car's potential.

but hey since the its up here i have been in the same situation whether to take a S14 or an Integra and both are good cars depends on what you want...for me i would rather take the lower insurance and FWD for safe driving you know the saying SAFETY FIRST

Well, Ive owned both cars, and lets just say I sold my S14 about 2 weeks ago so I could get another GSR. lol. But it all depends on what you want to do. If you want to drift, get the S14, but if you want to Road race, I would go with the teg. I liked drifting a lot, but I think its more of a fad right now, and I enjoy road racing a ton, so like I said, Im looking for another GSR.

lol

240 has more torque so it's ideal for the quarter time but as for a track car, hands down it would be a cake walk for the gsr (stock vs stock)

I bitch slap 240's....lol, I would love to build one though. Id prob get every driving infraction there was driving around on the drift. Id have to drift everything.
