new here w/a 67 coronet

Hopeing you guys can help me out, just put in a 440 in my ride took over 9 mths finally got the car back last Oct, put it away for the winter started 3x's this spring (didn't even drive it on the road) and had an electrical fire, need to find web sites or any ideas where to pick up an electric harness. Tried all my resources that I can think of, any idea would be great.

year one, painless wiring are the two i can think of. check out their web sites. i have o get wires for my 71 coronet and they are on the year one site so im pretty sure you can find yours on there.

Also, the guys at Summit Racing are always there to help. They may not have your specific part that you need, but they'll always help you out, whether they redirect you to a manufacturer or see if they can fabricate something for you, they're always a great help. Definetly go with the Year One Harness. It is expensive though. A dash harness is about $500. The smaller, under-hood harnesses are less expensive.

You can get factory harnesses for the set up you have. If you just put a 440 in it, you can get the appropriate wires so you don't have any more fires. It makes it real easy. Just plug into all the factory gauges, lights, switches, etc.

You can go with painless or another mfr., but you won't have the same plugs and connectors.
