i want a turbocharger! how much for a good one, and what performance can i expect?

You may be able to go turbo for about $2500, but it won't do much on a Suburban because it requires higher RPM's for boost.
A supercharger is $3800, but operates at lower RPM's (like our Subs do). Expect an extra 100 Horses, which is quite a boost but quite a price tag, too. That is why people go with NOS... so much cheaper for the same increase in performance.
