Where can I find a custom chevy bowtie for a reasonable price, online or at a store. I wanna find a red one cause I just put a 98 style grille on my truck. Also what are some good sites to find parts like these?

There's a guy/company that sells custom painted bowties on Ebay. He does any color you want I believe.

Does anyone happen to know if the stock chevy bowtie can be painted? Or do you happen to know that website that carries the different color bowties? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Yea, i saw that guy on e-bay. I was thinking of gettin one that matched my truck. But i wanna see if im actually gonna go through with re-doin my whole front end first. I want to get the "SS" style bumper with some speede grille inserts.

While im on that topic.... I was lookin into gettin the SS "bumper cover" for my truck. Does this just slip over my existing bumper? I hope not caus that would be kind of half-assed. Does anyone know how this thing works?:dunno:

I've read a few posts on another forum, and I think it does just slide over, like a skin..which is kinda shitty.

I have a smoothie bumper cover for my '98 which I never ended up putting it on, but it's made to slide over the stock bumper. Not sure if the newer ones are like that or if you can just by a replacement bumper

I mean, i wouldent mind using the bumper cover...as long as you couldent tell it was a cover, u know. Like if you could see the factory cover behind it, or if it rattled or somethin like that. This is something i dont plan on doin for a long time...but still want it, so i guess i have plenty of time to research it. I mean, so far it looks like it costs about $700-$800 just for the cover and grill inserts, I donno how much it will cost to get it all painted to match my truck. Damn i gotta stop lookin in truck mags. and stop adding stuff to my wish list.
