18" or not?

im thinking about getting some 18" racing hart z500 but im not sure if i can tuck the rims when i lower it. i know i would have to take out the wheel well walls but would i have to do any major modifications?
please help!!

Well I don't think that they will fit..
But if you do what you said.. Take out the inner wheel wells and then they might fit.. I wanted to do 18's as well but I'm goin to have to go 17's.
Anywho.. if you get it to work... Please let me know.. And send a pic..

with some mods it might work, I have a 96 with 16's wrapped with 205, 55, 16. They almost hit the inner wheel wells, I look to do mods on my car when I drop it down about 2 inches, it is worth the try!

Well these are 18's on mine with a 1.7" drop... and well i won first place for best chevy 2000 an up at import wars in NH. they fit fine.

you can fit upto 19's on the 3rd gen cavs....
Like jayson said he has 18's and they are actually common. It just depends on what kid of ride you are willingto put up with due to the lower profile tires and possible stiffer suspension if you lower the car.......
