I don't know then. I don't know if you could even put b16 pistons in a d16.

you can buy any part you could think of for a D-series motor. go read auto.howstuffworks.com to learn what they do and then maybe you'll know what you want.

You could buy aftermarket parts; like a cam, higher compression pistons, mill the head a little. But honestly you're not going to see a whole lot of more hp out of the D's unless you turbo it. I guess it really depends on what kind of hp goals you're looking for. Definently read that link above to get some ideas.

If you want cheap but good pistons. Get the SRP.

It really depends on what compression we're talkin aboutk. If its 11:1 with bolt ons probably around 7-9 whp gain. You'll see a much better gain if you upgrade the throttlebody , cam, and intake manifold.

B-series pistons arn't gonna work too well in your sohc ex motor. Now if ou where talking 92-95 EX and SI, they are the same motor, but the 98ex and 00si use different motors. Putting the b16A pistons in your ex really isn't feasable.
As mellowboy suggested, buy some good aftermarket pistons in you want pistons. First off, are you trying to go all motor of turbo in the end. If you're wanting to boost it in the end, don't worry about pitons right now and save your $$.
A turbo kit for a sohc typically costs less than for a DOHC, and they are fairly easy to build your own kit for, do some research. A turbo kit running low boost should be able to safely get you to 174whp or so, give or take.
