RB26DETT(Skyline) into a Maxima(2000)
Is it Possible?
I was wondering if i could transplant a RB26DETT into my 2000 Maxima.
Would this be a wise descision or would it be better to stick with my original engine?

They say anything is possible with enough money, but I bet that's not what you want to hear. ;)
The biggest barrier to your proposal is that the RB engines are made to be mounted longitudinally, for a RWD or AWD set up, which will be noticably incompatible with the FWD Maxima.
Does the 2000 Max have the VG or VQ engine? The new VQ is in a lot of hot cars, so you could just watch what becomes available for that engine...
And welcome to AF, BTW. :D I'm going to move this to the Maxima section for you. :)

i'd stick with the VQ30DE...just get a supercharger with a custom intercooler...smaller pulley..and NOS(if u really really have this urge to go fast)...
although the idea of slapping in a RB26DETT is just way too cool...this might work a little better with the Altima..since the car can support longitudinally mounted motors..
