i have a 1999 civic ex 5 speed with a bit over 50k miles, it has never given me any problems until now. it started on saturday, i drove the car all day running around town, came home, and when i went to go out that night, it acted like it didnt want to start. i got it started after about 5 tries, so i chalked it up to low gas in the tank, drove to the nearest gas station and filled it up. about a mile from the station, i hit a bump and the car stalled. i popped the hood and found the negative battery termanal lose. i tightened it up and the car started up, and drove fine for the night. the next day i went to start it, and it took at least 10 minutes to start, but once it started, it ran fine. i took it out and put in some injector cleaner and topped it off with better gas, assuming i had picked up some crud in the cheap gas i bought the day before. after sitting for a few hours, it took 10 minutes to start it again. and once again, once it was started it ran fine. i checked the spark pugs, cap and rotor, and all electrical connections that i could see, and everything seemed fine. when the car would start it would run great, no sputtering, hesatation, or anything like that. today i went to start it, took about 10 minutes to start, ran for about 1 minute, then sputtered out. i let it set for about an hour, tried again, and it sputtered out again. i can hear the fuel pump hum when i turn the key, it sounds normal, there is no check engine light on, the starter is cranking good, and everything seems to be fine, i cant figure it out, please help!

Driving with a poor ground connection will drain the battery, so you'll want to get it recharged. While you're buying the recharger, buy a Multi-Tester ( i.e. Volt Meter) to measure the output on the alternator. It may be failing.

His alt seems to be fine since it's running fine after he gets it started. You probably just need to recharge your battery like Mendari said. Check both sides of that battery ground to make sure they are both tight though.
