I still say get a VG30DETT, it is cheaper, or better yet, get an LS6 and be done with, the power output possibility is limitless, 1200Hp and still street legal :ylsuper: .

the problem with forced induction is that you've got to constantly tweak stuff, then getting either includes getting also more stuff making your engine bay so crumped, I mean, wouldn't it be easier to swap in an LS6, I saw a guy at an auto show with 540hp out of his LS6 and 250hp shot of NOS, I also saw a 550hp N/a small block, I mean, damn, the response and reliability are still kept in check, this will be the last engine ever needed, but to stay in the tradition of import, I would go with the Q45 All Aluminum V8, with some good tweaking, 360hp N/a will be possible.

I have that issue of SCC...it also has a comparison between the ca18, sr20, ka-t, and rb25...but those are brief overviews about each swaps benefits and downsides...nothing like the walkthrough of the install they give for the rb25...
a great issue to get a back-copy of (sept 2003)...has info about differentials for project silvia too...

I read it on the web, since I'm using 1/2 domestic shit and the other 1/2 import, even the Tech guy Dave Coleman (who by the way is very helpful, he replies your questions promptly and explains his shit) couldn't help me much, he did give me a couple of tips on suspension stuff and on the chasis mods but when if came to the drive train, I'm on my own.

in my research into using a domestic V8 engine in the 240 is the drivetrain has to be a custom made item to fit, oh ya there is a shop that i talked to here where i live about making the the parts i need it would cost an arm and a leg to get it in and running, reinforcing the frame is a must or else the torque could destroy the parts you spent soo much to make[according to them]
i believe the name of the 240sx with the LT1 was 240SS by some guy by the name Aries i used to have the their site showing the swap and everything but it no longer works i guess its gone, it was in arizona
i still want to do it but as imm a poor student it will have to wait until i win the lotto or something
