info on my 6er - D49 VMB

Hi,

I just bought a silver 1987 UK BMW 635CSi with the registration D49 VMB. I bought it last night :o)

I have no history with the car and it's going to need quite a bit of work, but I've always wanted a 6er, so as long as it's doesn't cost too much £$£$£$, I'll be happy.

Does anyone know anything about this car? Did you ever own it? Do you know someone who used to own it? Any info at all would be interesting. I'm going to speak to BMW at the w/end and see what info I can find out...

Don't know whose it was but that's a very nice looking 6! CONGRATS!!

thanx! it's being MoT'd at the moment (UK roadworth test) so hopefully i'll have it back soon and it won't cost me too much. you can't see it from the pic, but both front wings are in pretty poor condition, but the garage doing the MoT has a pair they pulled from a same year model.
