well first i would do a search instead of posting, but anyway-
xmdos are pretty bad i f you wanna drift, your going to have to spend atleast 100$ if you want a decent car for drifting. TL01 from tamiya is good and you can buy a used one thats already biult fo around 75-100$, or the XB pro series from tamiya is also good, thats around 150$ i think, or the hpi sprint, or hpi sprint 2, i tihnk the price of the first model is lower now because of the second version out, but last time i checked those were about 200$, and remeber all these can be used and still worked, check ebay for 4wd, electric touring cars.

Good choice, the TL and TT series is pretty quick box stock, you should have fun building it.

I just got a Nitro TC3+ from team associated, took it out for the first time today following engine break in and this thing drifts like you wouldn't believe!!!
I was doing 360 degrees with about a 15 foot radius with no steering input, the thing just hung there and kept on sliding once you started it going, awesome, can't reccomend it enough!
