98 Blazer hard shift, BlazerLT, any suggestions?

This was the post from Maryfish on August 11th.

"My 98 Blazer is shifting hard from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. Runs fine on the freeway, but when I drive at slower speeds thats when it shifts hard. What do you think is the problem?"

I'm kind of having the same problem, mine is an 1998 LS S10 Blazer and dont have the SES on.i don't quite understand the concluisions on the post. Something about the valve boby needed to be replaced on some tranys.

Help please!!! Tell me what should i do.

Have you had the tranny fluid flushed and new filter and fluid replaced?
